Pre-Construction Costs
Paid directly to NCP’s preferred subcontractors by owner.
1. Travel time and costs: 5% - 40%
NPC adds in an overall travel cost for our builds based on a fuel/travel surcharge plus time in traffic for locations outside of a 30-minute radius from the NPC headquarters in Renton. This surcharge can range from 5% - 40%, depending on a number of factors. These include the time needed to get to your location as well as the scope of your project. For example, if your project involves extra features such as a fire pit or slide feature, our team will need to be on-site longer which equals more travel time and a higher travel cost percentage.
2. Engineered Pool Plan Budget: $1,500
Specific dimensions of pool vessel required for permitting.
3. Permit Filing Fee: $1,500
Filling and submission of the engineered pool and site plans for the permit process.
4. Building Permit Fee: $1,500-$2,000
Cost assessed by the county for the building permit.
5. Excavation Contractor Budget: $5,500-$15,000
Depending on the complexity of pool project and access to the construction zone, dirt removal and importing/exporting any backfill materials.
6. Electrical Contractor Budget: $7,500-$15,000
Depending on the complexity of the pool project. NPC preferred electrical contractor will provide an onsite estimate to owners based on the complexity of pool design selected.
7. Gas contractor budget: $2,500
Running of gas to project from the meter.
